Registrations for the 10th edition are now available
The Gran Fondo Alberto Contador opens registrations for its 10th edition, expected to take place on September 25, 2021 in Oliva (Valencia). From June 1, registrations can be purchased to participate in this cycling event, which includes the official jersey. Those who register during the first 7 days will receive their bib numbers at a reduced price.
The race offers two routes, 162km and 111km, both closed to traffic, where participants who accept the challenge will have the opportunity to pedal alongside one of the best cyclists of all times, Alberto Contador.
After the cancelation of the 2020 edition, as a result of the Covid-19, the Gran Fondo Alberto Contador repeats its headquarters and returns to Oliva Nova Beach & Gold Resort, in the Valencia town of Oliva. The current restrictions established by the Valencian Community now allows outdoor events for up to 4,000 participants. The organization hopes that the health situation continues to evolve positively until the scheduled date of the event with a large amount of the population already vaccinated and with even more flexible restrictions. However, should the event be cancelled for reasons related to the Covid-19, 100% of the registration fee will be refunded.
In any case, the event will take place in compliance with the established measures, guaranteeing the safety of all participants and by following security protocols established by the organization.
